Part 2
By Brittany Warman(Home Page)

Basically the story of the Young Jedi Knights once more resisting the pull of the Dark Side. A former student of Brakkas's is using a mystical Force crystal to achieve the ultimate power. With it he could become the next Emperor, and seduce the Young Jedi Knights!!!! Warning: I am a huge fan of the Jaina/Zekk thing, so don't be surprised if it shows up in my story! ;). Also note: This is only part 2!!!!

Spoilers: Basically all of the Young Jedi Knights series.

Note: I do not own these characters, and I am not making any money. I am just doing this for the fun of it, and I do not mean to take credit for the amazing works of George Lucus, Kevin J. Anderson, or Rebecca Moesha. I am just another crazy fan, who adores fan fiction!!!!

This is dedicated to my family

Sitting in his new office, Pev watched the data comming accross the monaitor.

Pev was young, 19 at the most, with blond hair and strange violet eyes. He was a slicer. A good one too. He knew that he was good. Why else would he have been hierd by the leader of this select group. It was so secret, even he did not know it's purpose. He just sat here, in this plush office, with not much to do. He was told that he would be notified when he was needed. For now, he would wait.

Pev was quiet, and funny when he wanted to be. He didn't like a lot of attention. He was cocky with his work, and easily got inpatitant, as he was now. He would wait, he would wait.

"Master, do you think that the time has come?" Sarki asked.

Sarki was a mesike. A smal winged creature, with incredibally sharp claws. It thrived mostly in the Rim, and was not ever well known outside of there. Sarki herself was an extreemly subservient creature.

"No." Came the answer. "Not yet. We must do this slowly, so we may sucseed where my former master has failed. I want those young jedi, Sarki."

 "Ah, the Solo twins Master?"

"And their little friends. Zekk..." Sarki's master spat out, as if the very name was a curse.

"Zekk. What shall we do to him, Master?"

"You shall see. He might be easily turned back."

"How are they to come here, Master?" Sarki asked, bowing for the third time since comming into the room.

Tired of her, "I'll do it!" he snapped. "You are dissmissed."

Sarki bowed again, and hurried from the room. Her master senced her fear, and smiled.

Sarki's master was named Farkaris. He was a student of Brakass', and of the Shadow Academy. He was tall, about 29, with redish hair, and gray-green eyes. He remembered Jacen and Jaina well. Even though he was the elder, Brakiss had played far more attention to them. Now that was behind him. Now, he had the Dark Force Crystal.

The Dark Force Crystal gave anyone who wore it the power of a master of the Dark Side. It had taken more years then he liked to remember to find it, but he had. The crystal glowed with the evilness within it. The Sith had created it. It was a small cube shaped pendent, that Farkaris wore about his neck. Without it, his ability to sense the Force was almost nonexistent. Not anymore.

He set out to make content with the young pupils of Skywalker. This would be simple. He was going to seucseed, and sucseed well. This time, the dark side would not be stopped.

At that moment, the friends were just sitting around, at their favorite spot by the lake. Jacen was talking with Tenel Ka about some frilled lizard, he had just found, and Jaina and Zekk were trying to figure out a way to hook a slicer module to the Lightning Rod. Lowie had just gone back inside.

Suddenly, the clearing got very dark, and cold. They abruptly stopped their conversations, and looked at one another.

Nothing happened for many moments. They then heard a voice.

*Ah, here you are. I've been looking for you.* They relized that he was talking to them through the Force.

"Look, I don't know what's going on, but I had better know soon." Jaina said, smoothly.

*Turn yourselves over, and no one else gets hurt.*

"And if we don't?" Tenel Ka asked.

*The result is too tereible to describe.*

"Which means you haven't thought of it yet." Jacen said.

*Come to Dantooine. You will find the answers there.* as if on second thought, he added, *And I do sugjest that you cooperate.*

Suddenly, the connection was broken. The friends were silent.

"What are we going to do?" Jacen asked.

"The only thing we can do." The warrior princess answered, with grim determination. "Go."

Zekk was still. "It's a trap." He said.

"Perhapes. But it is best that we find out. Our well being is no match for whatever 'conscuences' he had planned." Tenel Ka said.

"Spoken like a true princess." Jacen said, then noticing the look on her face, "And a true Jedi." He added.

She smiled faintly. "Thank you Jacen, my friend."

Jaina stood. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she asked. Quickly, the 4 friends headed toward the Rock Dragon.
