Jaceb Solo sat by the murkey brownish-green river of the tiny jungle moon Yavin 4. He sighed in fusteration. For the past few days he had been wondering how to tell his friend Tenel Ka that he had fallen in love with her. He sighed again. He knew it was hopeless. 'Tenel Ka?' he thought. What would the statuesqe princess of Hapes see in simple plan old Jacen Solo? Completly hopeless. If he thought-
    Just then he sensed someone behind him. He whirled. "Tenel Ka!" he said smiling warmly at his friend. But inside his heart raced with fear and longing. If only he could just tell her how he felt then everything would be all right and he wouldnt feel as if he was going to explode. "Um....Tenel Ka?" he started. Just then a huge snarl came from the jungle. Automactically his hand went to the hilt of his lightsaber. Tenel Ka had already ignited hers. A dazzling turquiose blade shot throught the air peircing the sky with its brilliance. A minute later jacen ignited his own lightsaber. An emerald green blade hummed to
life. Followed by...a molten bronze blade coming from the very direction of the snarl. Jacen stopped dead in his trackes. "Lowie?" he called. He was greeted by a wookie roar and Lowbacca came bounding out of the jungle. Jacen grinned sheepishly at Tenel Ka. "Um...want to hear a joke?" he asked trying to cover up his embarassment. Tenel Ka looked at him for a moment
and suddenly through her head back and burst out laughing. Lowie and Jacen looked at her as if she suddenly had grown another head! But Tenel Ka didnt care. She was laughing so hard she didnt think she could ever stop. It proved to be contagious. Jacen and Lowie joined in and soon they were all cracking up. Jacen stopped suddenly. He frowned."Tenel Ka, what was so funny?"
   "Ah, Aha Jacen my friend it is the irony of it all. Perhaps the reason I am so amused is because I really don't laugh like this very often and I well it is a great way to releive tension"
     Jacen looked at her quizzically. "What are you so tense about Tenel Ka?" To his surprise the warrior girl blushed a deep pink. To him it only served to make her even more beautiful.
    Tenel Ka sighed and said "Jacen, my friend I think it is time we had a long talk. Alone" She looked pointedly at Lowie. He growled a See you guys later and walked off. When Lowie had gone, Tenel Ka sat down beside Jacen. She had been thinking about how she was going to tell Jacen what she felt for him was more then friendship. "Jacen I have wanted to tell you this for so long and I finally got my nerve so I well I um...remember when you fell out the bottom of cloud city?" Jacen looked at her.
    "Do I ever" he said.
    "Well when I thought you were dead it tore me apart and I thought I would never get the chance to tell you how I really feel about you. But now I have this chance and--"she trailed off. Tears had formed in her eyes as she struggled to keep her composure. With a sniff she continued. "I ok there is not an easy way to tell you this but I love you more then anything and I know that we have been friends for a long time and that maybe it wont work but that doesnt change what I feel and well
I should go." By now Tenel Ka was blushing a deep scarlet and was nervously twining her hands to gether. Jacen had scooted closer to her as she had told him the truth.She had not looked at him at all and now she felt she had to.Tenel Ka looked at him. As her gaze met his brandy-brown gaze she felt her heart skipping beats.
     "Tenel Ka I um... dont know what to say." he looked at her and smiled shyly. "Except that I feel the same way."
     Slowly Jacen's arms encircled her small waist. He drew her closer to him and gently kissed her lips. Tenel Ka  kissed him back passionatly. The kiss deepend till it was as if thier souls had joined by the bonds of love forever sealing their feelings for each other.A simple jedi knight and a beautiful jedi princess.Who would have thought?
